Dr. Dermisi joined the University of Washington in 2014 and currently holds the Victor L. Lyon and Alvin J. Wolff Endowed chair. She also holds a joint appointment with the Department of Urban Design and Planning. |
Dr. Dermisi’s research agenda has focused on major downtown office locations, with three areas of emphasis: market analysis, terrorism/disaster events and sustainability. She has received various external grants and multiple awards. | Dr. Dermisi teaches three courses (RE510, RE518 and RE532) in the MSRE program and the Graduate Certificate in Real Estate and serves as thesis chair/committee member of Master in Urban Design & Planning students. | Dr. Dermisi serves as the Director of the Graduate Programs in Real Estate since 2017 and served as Acting Chair of the Runstad Department of Real Estate (2021-22).
She was President- of the American Real Estate Society 2019-20 and served as the Program Chair of the 2018 Conference |
